Privacy policy

This policy explains what AI Home Inventory (“the app”), operated by ITIME MARKETING INC (“we”), collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the app stores the photos and items that make up your inventory with your account so the inventory survives losing your phone; photos are sent to an AI model to list items; we do not sell data or use your photos to train anything; and you can delete everything from inside the app.

1. What we collect

• Photos you take or choose. Room photos, close-ups, receipts and declarations pages you add to the inventory. Stored with your account, resized to a maximum of 2048 pixels on the long edge.
• Inventory data. Rooms, items, quantities, descriptions, values, notes, and your policy's contents limit if you enter it.
• Account data. A random device identifier created on first launch, and your email address or Apple sign-in identifier if you add one. Name if you provide it.
• Purchase records. Whether you have purchased the Whole Home unlock or photo packs, via Apple and our payments provider RevenueCat. We never see your payment card.
• Usage and diagnostics. Anonymous product events (for example that a scan completed) and crash reports. No photo content, no item names, no free text.
• Install attribution. Aggregate, privacy-preserving campaign attribution through AppsFlyer using Apple's SKAdNetwork. No advertising identifier and no tracking prompt.

Website traffic measurement

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure website visits, page views and link interactions. It processes page URLs, referral sources and basic browser/device information to report aggregate traffic. Ahrefs states that this service uses no cookies, stores no IP addresses with analytics data and does not track visitors across days.

2. How photos are used

When you scan a photo, it is sent to an AI model operated by OpenAI to identify items and estimate replacement-cost ranges. The request is made with a temporary link to your photo and is not retained by the model provider for training under the terms we use. The model's output is stored as items in your inventory. Photos are not used to train our systems or anyone else's.

3. Where data is stored

Inventory data is stored in a database and photos in object storage operated for us by Railway and Cloudflare, encrypted in transit and at rest by those providers. Photos are served only through time-limited signed links to your signed-in app.

4. Why we process it

To provide the service you asked for: keeping an inventory that survives the loss of a device, producing reports, and answering support requests. Legal bases where they apply: performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and fraud-free.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Railway and Cloudflare (hosting and storage), OpenAI (AI processing of photos), Resend (sign-in emails), RevenueCat and Apple (purchases), Expo (push notifications if you enable them), AppsFlyer and Aptabase (aggregate analytics). We do not sell personal data. We disclose data if required by law.

6. Retention

Your inventory is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting the account deletes rooms, items and photos. Diagnostic and aggregate analytics data is retained for up to 24 months.

7. Your rights

You can export your inventory (PDF and CSV) from the Report tab at any time, correct any item in the app, and delete your account and all data from the Account tab. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to processing; contact us at support@aihomeinventory.co and we will respond within 30 days. 8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes

We will post changes here with a new date. Material changes are announced in the app.
