Email support@aihomeinventory.co for anything not covered below. Include the room or item you're asking about and a screenshot if you have one. We answer within two business days.

The scan didn't finish or came back empty

The photo is saved even when the scan fails. Open the photo and tap “Try the scan again”. If a room is genuinely empty of insurable items the app says so. Very dark or blurry photos return fewer items; retake with the lights on.

The app listed something that isn't in my home

Tap “Not here” on the card. Removed items can be restored from the photo screen. A reflection in a window or a picture on a wall sometimes reads as a real object; removing it takes one tap.

An estimate is wrong

Open the item and read the “what the app saw” note: it lists the quality cues the estimate used. Correct the brand, quantity or condition, or type a known value; a known value replaces the range in totals. For valuable items, take the close-up the app asked for.

How do I add something the camera couldn't see?

In the room, tap “Add item by hand”. For closets and drawers, tap the suggested-shot chip the app shows after a wide photo and photograph inside.

Where is the PDF?

Report tab, “Create PDF report”. It opens the share sheet: save to Files, email it, or AirDrop it. The CSV export is next to it.

I got a new phone

If you added an email in the Account tab, sign in with it and the inventory returns. If you never added one, the inventory was tied to the old device; we cannot recover it. Add an email before switching.

Restore a purchase

Account tab, “Restore purchases”. Purchases are tied to your account; add an email so they follow you.

I'm out of free photos

The free tier is 4 AI photos total across 2 rooms. Whole Home is US$49.99 once and includes 60 photos; packs of 20 cost US$9.99. Editing and adding by hand never use photos.

Delete my account and photos

Account tab, “Delete my account”. Everything goes: photos, items, rooms, the account. See the data deletion page for details.

Before you write in

The how it works page explains what the estimates are and why some items ask for a close-up. The pricing page covers what counts as an AI photo. Privacy questions are answered on the privacy policy.
